The last few days I noticed a change in how others were addressing me. P2B was cute yet not who I am.
I have gone through a few name changes giving my friends fits. One thing I have never mentioned is how I was singled out as a child. My fellow students called me by my initials in a mean manner. This went on for 3 or 4 years. When ever anyone addressed me it was my initials. Now I'm sure you have seen or something similar. I knew it was not ment as fun just as the N word is not acceptable. Yet my school allowed this to go on. Even a few teachers were stopped by me when they tried to use the this form of my name.
What got me about the change is that no one asked me or even attempted to contact me. How or what was I to think? As you can see I have changed my name, I wished to keep proud to be an American as my blog and Truth Seeker as my name. What happened? TS

Yes I'm on a rant or maybe I'm not getting across to my fellow Americans how bad it is. If I was to get all my WHITE Americans together it would be considered a march against all others. Yet let any other race get together in these numbers and it is a march for their rights. What happened to just doing your job and raising a family. No there are still areas to overtake and plunder. This may sound strange, but have you ever thought about what is said as you walk away. I am not a heartless individual nor am I out to deny anybody what America offers. Yet is it fair to take my America and make it yours? What if we were to go to Canada or Mexico in the numbers reported. That in my schooling is an invasion. Yes we invaded and conquered America in just that way. So to prevent it from happening we set our borders. Not walls or fences an imaginary line that says this is ours. You may visit only do not disrupt our economy. Be good neighbors and we will be as well. I don't care what nationality you are. I have respect for those who respect boundries, if you are from a differant country welcome. Just do not expect our rights untill you have made yourself known. If you continue to live and work in our country that is requiered. Now you are going to ask "WHO AM I?" I am proud to be an American. TS

If you have lost what I have lost there is reason to march. Yet being a white American leaves the door open for attack. Mexican Americans are given the same chance as I in working. I have worked closely with Mexicans who showed pride that they were working at all. Yet they also have shown arrogance while refusing to work with others.
Lets take all the handicapped individuals and set them up in Mexico. The savings that we would get for living there would allow us a higher living standard. They say 12,000,000,000 Mexican have crossed our border and live among us. That is alot of money being payed to them instead of young Americans. Because we immigrated here and won the battle we now must let ourselfs be overrun by our neighbors. They demand what my relitives fought and died for. Did we not have a Mexican American war? Have we not fought in Viet Nam, Japan, and China? What about the Middle East? Everytime we defeat a country they are given a part of our country. We need no more war we are all out of REAL ESTATE. I woke up late or early and the meet the press show was running again. The topic on the table was religion and how it affects us in our life. I was reading my blogs and as usual on religious holidays we are asked how God works in our life. Now I hate that I sound like a broken record. Where is the faith? Job was tempted, scared and lost his family yet still blessed God for what he has not what he didn't. Those around him said he was foolish and should denounce his God. He answered back to all who wanted him to denouce his God that no matter what he must stand firm.
Now if Job can withstand his trial then I must do as well. We both are only men and our beliefe in God is the one thing that NO ONE can take from either of us. No I am not saying I am as strong as Job in my faith, only that my faith is all I control. Yes I am angry who wouldn't be? But at the end of the day I "MUST NOT FORGET" who my Lord is. TS

Yes this mornings news is about the battle for the DVD market. I thought since beta vs vcr was waged the leaders would just be resigned to making millions. "WRONG" Now they are experimenting with other ways to stimulute the mind. Now this is just a thought and not ramblings of a mad man but I remember an episode of "STAR TREK" and it delt with a GAME that one wore around the head. Probably not, but it delt with brain washing and making one so brain dead that to be conquered would be easy.
Yes it is early and probably not realistic but we as a country have become to visual and reading is not as entertaining as a good movie only while you are young READ. Become involved with the work created by an author. Robert Ludlum, Robin Cook, and my favorite Stephen King kept me awake many times or falling asleep with the book in my lap. I now choose to be entertained in other ways but I still remember how reading allowed me to dream. TS
