You have to remind me these last few years of my advancing age. First it was your 50th birthday and how blessed you are to still have the vim and vigor to continue to bring us closer to the news. You have a quality that I find rare in women and that is a need for the truth to out weigh ones need for ignorance. The last man to have that ideal in my mind was Phil D. He searched for truth and the entertainment value be damned. I wish only one thing in the future and that is to return to the audiance and allow them what once was. TS

Yes the one constant in my life has been Katie Couric. No I am not a crazed fan angry that she has spurned me, I have enjoyed her take and personal opinions on the news that NBC has covered. Yes what first drew me to watch was her looks, not a dumb hot blonde, her attributes were more intelligent. As if God wanted us to pay attention, this woman was subtle yet never let a view not be heard. Her commitment to the truth should and will be her legacy. I know she is going to do well and may her and her family prosper. Please NBC do not replace her untill you are sure that the same standards will be upheld. TS

Yes some of the greatest times I have had were to gaze at the moon and dream. I have been an astronaut to a zoo keeper and a success at all. Life is not hard, one should be proud of his daily performance and not of how others judged the performance. Would it be asking that a boss ask why another does not want to work around someone. The "others feel they are carrying you" or "your handicap makes others nervous," is also a reason I have lost my job. I have not worked for many years and my only task is to stay out of the way. That was told to me as why I get my check every month. I was not raised for this and the retraining my mind for nothing is a task in its self.

Maybe there is a solution to how we as a civilization can move forward. When I was raised the most important lesson I learned was "if my intention is to make another feel less of a person then I was wrong." What I noticed was that it seemed as if it was how you got ahead. I stayed with my learning and got no where very slowly. I was taught to be patient and not rush through life. As is my learning I helped and as if in a race I wanted those around me to do well and I helped. It was my behavior and when I changed to keep up I again was chastised. Is there anyone that can be blamed for not allowing me my American dream? Yes as long as I maintain my faith in God the end will be justified. As is written in Job, he saw four generations before his death. I ask of God to allow me to gaze upon my daughter and be proud. TS
