Growing up I was always reminded of those that were physically worse off than myself. What an insult to their life. Everyday they struggle with their life and as the day ends the last thing they want to know is they are being remembered as who you "don't" want to be like. WOW that is just how I want to be remembered. So the next time ask your child to put forth as much effort as the handicapped. If we can work up to our abilities instead of pointing out others lack of.
I'm going to say something and it might point out why I am unhappy. When I work I do what needs to be done as I'm sure everyone does. But given societies need to point out whats different, how many times were my fellow employee's told to work as hard as I had. They can't come to you and say hey slow down we can't keep up. NO But they can sabotage my efforts. Things are my fault and I need to go. The work always got done the same whether I was there or not only my desire for doing the job was not there and probably made for a more serene atmosphere.
Yes I am a product of societies acceptance of the handicapped in the work place. Wait a minute I don't work anymore, I'm a risk and insurance companies don't like risk. truthseeker
